Ornament Swap : )

Yay! I received my  package on Tuesday but waited until today to post about it because I wanted to make sure that my swap partner Stephanie received her package and there wouldn't be any spoilers : )

When I went to the post office to pick up my package I was very excited and as soon as I saw the  packaging my eyes went all googly : )

Merry Christmas Dear Stephanie : )

We are ready for the holidays : ) plus we cut out this lil tree drawing and it is now hanging on Miguelito's bedroom wall!

The package was so pretty and right away I could see that Stephanie had really put her heart into it. I picked the package up early in the morning and had to wait until the afternoon when Miguelito came out of school to be able to open the package. What an exciting surprise and wonderful way to end his day.

Thank you so much Stephanie! For such a beautiful and thoughtful package. We LOVED everything! Not only were the ornaments beautiful but the words you wrote to me in my card and the reason you chose my ornament it really does mean a lot. Muchas Gracias Sweet Girl : ) Not only did I gain a new friend but Miguelito also gained a new pen pal : )

The ornament I chose for Stephanie had a hand painted "Noche Buena Flower" a Mexican flower that comes out in December and it represents that the holiday season is here. It's used in Christmas and is used as a Christmas symbol. In the US it's known as the poinsettia : )
I am so happy that her package arrived safely and that she loved everything. You can read more about her package here.

I can't think of a better way to start the holiday season then to receive such a pretty and thoughtful package in the mail. Plus the most beautiful thing I got out of this swap was a new friend : )
