Happy Friday Loves

Never before have I ever been so happy to see a week go by, my Miguelito

finally has his appetite back and a fever free day. He's on his

way to a good recovery - yay!!

It's been a while that I've participated in AV's Friday Fancies

and I'm SO excited :)

It's always so much fun to put together dream outfits.

This week's was especially fun because AV challenged us to put together

a little white dress ensemble :)

Happy Birthday To My Dear Papi,

It's been a scary past few days with my Miguelito, but thanks to God everything

will be ok. Thank you so much my loves for the messages, emails, and comments

on facebook. They gave me strength and so much support during

this very scary moment.

Things are almost back to normal again and today we get to celebrate not only

that my Miguelito is ok, but also my sweet pappa's birthday.

A day full of blessings & happiness :)

Some Of My Favorites

This week I'm focusing on three of my essential summer items:

Dove Deodorant 

Visibly smooth clinical protection deodorant in wild rose scent - this deodorant is 2 things in one.

Not only does it help minimize my underarm hair but it also helps me in this summer heat and sweating.

Btw I don't suffer from BBO or anything but just in case I did

this deodorant would be my number one! I love it!!

Tresemme

Fresh start dry shampoo - now that it's summer it's really a drag to have to wash your 

hair every single day, not only is it bad to wash your hair every day because

you wash away your natural important oils, but i get lazy as well.

So it's great to be able to spray this on y hair every other day, it smells great and leaves my hair feeling soft.

Sedu

Pure Argan Oil - perfect for my summer frizzies! I've tried oils before and they always leave my hair feeling oily and heavy. This one is perfect!! It's not greasy and I forget it's on my hair.

Plus it smells wonderful!!

Blast From The Past...

There's nothing better than late night reminiscing with your sister into wee hours

 of the night. 

Chatting about old TV shows and crushes, that's precisely how this segment is making a

 comeback all thanks to late night chatting with Marz - night owls unite :)

It was Saturday night and off we were going back and fourth

chatting about our favorite TV shows!

Remembering good ole TGIF Fridays and how fun it was to sit around with our family

and laugh at silly characters from Steve Urkel "Did I Do That?"

to Joey "Whoa!"

Those were the good ole carefree days, when sitcoms were the best and so much fun

to watch especially because you got to see your crush.

Each week we (by we I mean me and you my lovely readers)

 will go back in time and reminisce an old TV show and share our crush from that show.

You all remember Blossom and her silly friend Six!

Blossom - one of the coolest 90's girl ever!
Left acting and graduated from college with a PHD in neuroscience and is now a mom of two!

Joey - Blossoms very cute middle brother Whoa!
He continues to act in TV sitcoms.

Anthony - Blossoms older brother!
Now a recovering drug addict and alcoholic - last big screen debut  was as one of the jokers
goons in "The Dark Knight"

Six - Blossoms very cool best friend.
Continues to act and can be seen in "Dr Doolitle 3"

Vinnie - Blossoms boyfriend to later become her fiance.
Continued to act and starred with Melissa Joan Hart in Sabrina The Teenage Witch.

 I have to say that even though I loved Joey for his quirkiness and handsome looks

my heart really belonged to Vinnie :)

Something about his quirkiness and leather wearing jacket character just won me over!!

I love you Vinnie!!

It's The Simple Things In Life...

That make me the happiest girl on earth!! Life's great and nothing beats summer vacation!

• Enjoying summer birthdays :) My dad's b-day is in 9 days!
• Going bankrupt while shopping with my lil fashion dude - lol
• Enjoying some black & white cookies and OJ at Starbucks
• Taking long bubble baths
• Receiving unexpected b-day presents from Mi Clau, sweet Xavi and Sophie. Talk about being spoiled. I was sent so many goodies, not only that but a beautiful handmade birthday card from adorable Xavi :) I can't wait to post some pics of the cupcakes I got to bake with my new bake wear!!
• Happy to have free time to read again, and with Miguelito alongside to chit chat about our reads afterwards!
• Being spoiled with Miguelito time!! I'm going to miss my baby SO much when school starts again.  

So loves these are just a few of the things keeping me away from blog world!

Victoria Secret Pure Seduction Midnight Body Spray

I love scented body lotions and body sprays! I have so many at home people think I sell them, but truth is I just love them. I especially love victoria's secret garden collection, now that it's summer

this body mist is light and refreshing to wear plus it smells incredible!

Benzyl Peroxide Gel

this product is great for those horrible little red monsters we call zits, which I seem to

be getting a lot - bleh!

It's a quick overnight worker, and it works great on reducing redness and size by adding a quick doublet over the affected area and leaving it on overnight plus it's a Walgreen's brand meaning it's great for budget saving - a must have for emergency monsters I mean zits :)

Avon Smudge Corrector

Now this is a must have for this nail polish freak. I always make sure to carry this around in my purse

for those quick manicures and running around with freshly painted nails! It's saved my nail polish many a times!

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Control

I love this power clear scrub, it leaves my face so soft after each washing and very radiant. I swear it's not that my face is dirty or anything but after each use my face looks so much cleaner. Plus it was an allure magazine editor's choice.

Sephora - Blush Me Bronze Sensation No #8

Did you guys know that at my age (30) I am fairly new to makeup?? Gasp!!

Yep! Therefore for this blush I had to take lil old me to Sephora where they have patience for someone like me who has no idea of what goes good with my olive complexion.

I love this blush so much it gives me just the perfect touch of pink to my somewhat olive skin and it's perfectly light to wear.

Sephora Rouge Cream Lipstick - Intimidate 01 Rum Raisin

Even though I'm fairly new to blush and other kinds of makeups I've always loved lipstick!

I love to dress up my lips - oh yes I'm a mouth flirt-er - does that sound right? 

And this lipstick is just perfect for that!! It has a perfect touch of red and plum put together! 

Burts Bees Tinted Lip Balm In Red Dahlia

This lip balm is great! It's so smooth and with a perfect touch of color making it perfect for those on the run days.

Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara  physicians formula in black was actually a freebie score :)

One thing I love about walking the streets of New York is that they are always giving something away!

This mascara is perfect, it makes my lashes look longer and prettier.
